Professor Mykola Rozhko, the rector of the Ivano-Frankivsk national medical university has been awarded by Petro Poroshenko - the Order of Merit II degree on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, on Wednesday, June 28.
The text of corresponding decree No. 168/2017 was published on the website of the Ukrainian president. The award was given “for his significant personal contribution to the state construction, social and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and educational development of Ukraine, significant labor achievements and high professionalism".

Mykola Rozhko says that it is especially pleasant to receive such award in Constitution Day, because the Constitution is the special document in comparison with the rest of the national legislation. “This award is very pleasant for me, because it confirms that my personal contribution and the contributions of all our university collective to the development of Ukrainian medical education are supported at State level,” says the rector.
By the way, IFNMU rector has prepared 39 candidates of sciences and doctors of sciences. Mykola Rozhko is the laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, author of 12 national textbooks, he holds 180 patents.
