The Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Mykhailo Pustovoit, has been honored with the prestigious 'Cross of Civil Merit' for his active public and volunteer activities.
Valeriia Chadiuk, a postgraduate student of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Medical and Pharmaceutical Law, underwent training at the Department of Biological Research of the Ivano-Frankivsk Scientific Research Forensic Center of the MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) of Ukraine. During this training, she acquired expertise in DNA and dermatoglyphic identification methods.
On September 25th an online meeting took place on the ZOOM platform involving participants of the II phase of the Ukrainian-Swiss project "Medical Education Development" aimed at supporting the development of medical education in Ukraine.
On September 21, a meeting of the Student Council of the Professional Medical College was held. During the meeting, a new chairperson of the Student Council was elected. Victoria Plavianyk, a second-year student from the Pharmaceutical Department, was chosen for this role.

At the initiative of the dean's office and students of the Medical Faculty, a charity film screening of the Ukrainian movie "Dovbush" took place in the Lumiere cinema. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales was directed towards supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On September 21, upon the initiative of the Student Trade Union Committee, students and teachers of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University donated blood for injured soldiers. This event was organized in collaboration with the Prykarpattia Regional Blood Center. A mobile blood collection team set up a blood donation point in the IFNMU central building.
