Another meeting of the Academic Council took place on March 26th at the main administrative building of IFNMU.
On 26-27 March, an information event "Info-Day" was held in Lviv, organised by the team of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine, as part of the HEOinUA project. The aim of this event was to present the opportunities of the Horizon Europe programme. Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University was represented by: Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work (International Relations) Mariia Hryshchuk, Head of International Relations Department Khrystyna Lesiv and International Grants Specialist Volodymyr Makovyshyn.
On March 22-23, within the framework of the XII Dental Forum at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, a scientific-practical conference with international participation entitled "Innovative Technologies in Modern Dentistry" took place.
On March 23, the Plenary Session of the XXXV Scientific Session of the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the Shevchenko Scientific Society took place at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Participants included representatives from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
Acting Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics Mariia Hutsol, and Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Anna Ilkiv took part in the International Conference "Philological Studies and Translation Discourse." The conference was held at King Danylo University as part of the forum "Ukrainian Language Forum: Tutoring and Business Focus."
On March 21st, the first chess tournament among foreign students took place at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. Sixteen students participated in the competition.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the American Heart Association, supported by the charitable organization MedGlobal, pre-medical aid training and advanced resuscitation measures were conducted for lecturers of higher education institutions.
Students of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University have recently returned from Romania, where they took part in the International Medical Congress for medical students “Medicalis”.
On 21 March, the Ukrainian-Czech Medical Business Forum was held in Kyiv, organised by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine. Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University was represented by Head of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Professor Roksolana Nesterak and Head of the International Relations Department Khrystyna Lesiv.
