IX International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2018” was held in Kyiv. Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University has received several high awards at once.

The international conference for foreign students took place in Ivano-Frankivsk. The representatives from 22 countries most of whom were foreign students from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University were participants of the conference.

The concert devoted to the International Mother Language Day took place in Narodnyi dim “Prosvita” (community hall) on March 1st. International Mother Language Day is an annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity.

The representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University visited the international conference and medical equipment exhibition in Baia Mare, Romania.

The legendary pianist from Maidan, Piano Extremist, medical students and lecturers of the Ivano-Frankivsk national medical university performed together in the Ivano-Frankivsk regional philharmonic hall. The aim of the event was to honor the memory of the Heavenly Hundreds, as well as to help volunteers, a seriously ill married couple. The evening-requiem "Your name is eternal" was held on Thursday, February 22th.

Students of IFNMU honoured the memory of the Heaven’s Hundred Heroes. The event, dedicated to the "Day of Heaven's Hundred Heroes" was held in the reading room of the library of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University on February 16th.

The surgical team under the direction of Professor at the Department of Surgery No.2 and Cardiac Surgery of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University Volodymyr Pylypchuk has performed two unique operations - laparoscopic cystoenterostomies.
