Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May.

Foreign students and teachers of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University together with indifferent residents of the city cleaned up the banks of the Bystrytsia Solotvynska. Medical students have made a significant contribution to cleaning our environment from garbage, collecting about 60 rubbish bags (6000 liters).

Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, the great Ukrainian poet, artist and thinker, was born on March 9, 1814. He is the foremost Ukrainian poet, prose writer, painter and playwright of the 19th century. The name of Taras Shevchenko is well-known in the world - monuments to him were erected in numerous countries, his literary works were translated into almost all languages of the world.

The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is observed with a series of events and activities worldwide on March 21 each year. The day aims to remind people of racial discrimination’s negative consequences. It also encourages people to remember their obligation and determination to combat racial discrimination.

The administration of the university, medical students and department of educational work of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University invite everyone to celebrate "Stanislavski Vechornytsi".

On December 3, IFNMU organized a meeting for foreign students with First Pro-Rector, Professor Anna Ersteniuk. Pro-rector for Science and Education Work (International Relations) Serhiy Kobets, Dean of Foreign Citizens Training Faculty Dmytro Solomchak, employees of the Department of International Relations, the curators of the groups also took part in the event.
