Third-year students of the Faculty of Medicine have returned from the University of Opole (Poland) after a semester-long internship under the academic mobility programme Erasmus+.
On February 8th, the attestation of graduates of the Educational and Professional Program (EPP) "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy" was successfully completed. 66 Ukrainian students and one student from the Department of Foreign Citizens Training took the Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) on February 6th and 7th.
On February 8th, a workshop titled 'Setting Skin Allergy Tests' took place at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology. The workshop was conducted by candidates of medical sciences, associate professors Halyna Hirnyk and Marian Voloshynovych.
On February 9th, International Dentist Day is celebrated worldwide. In Ukraine, this holiday was initiated in 1993.
On February 6th, in dormitory No. 4 of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, students paid tribute to the memory of one of Ukraine's most popular singers, Andrii Kuzmenko, the leader of the band "Skriabin".
Another interactive Clinical Case Discussion took place at the university, led by Siddhant Shukla, President of EMSA. This time, the topic of the case was Traumatology.
Ukraine and Poland continue cooperation in higher education within the framework of the project "Supporting cooperation between the University of Opole and Ukrainian universities within the FORTHEM Alliance". On the way to the development of higher education, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and Opole University have joined to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
On February 6th, the second pre-medical assistance training session was conducted for students of the Professional Medical College at the Regional Clinical Center of Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
In the reading hall of the university library, a charity event called " Echoes of Christmas " took place. The participants managed to raise 29,131 hryvnias, which were donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On February 3rd, the final stage of the XIV International Language and Literature Competition for Pupils and Students named after Taras Shevchenko took place. Among the participants was Iryna Dovbnia, a first-year student of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
