New goals, new plans, and another step towards the improvement of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. On April 22nd, IFNMU Rector Roman Yatsyshyn met with the Executive Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Branch of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, Yurii Stefanchuk. During the meeting, the leaders signed a memorandum of cooperation.
On April 21, the Open Day took place at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. Approximately two hundred participants visited seven locations and came to meet with the administration.
The XV Ceremony of the All-Ukrainian Award "Woman of the Third Millennium" recently took place in Kyiv. This year, 28 women were nominated in various categories. Acting Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Associate Professor of the Department of Linguistics, Mariia Hutsol along with IFNMU graduate, endocrinologist, and military servicewoman Olena Kobrynska became laureates of the All-Ukrainian Award.
Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University is an integral part of the socio-economic sphere of Prykarpattia. On April 19, the university's rector, Roman Yatsyshyn, spoke at a session of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council. During the meeting, Roman Yatsyshyn provided information about the current activities of the university and plans for the future.
On April 16th, a workshop on "Tachyarrhythmia management algorithm" took place at the Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Medicine. Students from the 5th and 6th years of the medical faculty participated in the event.
From April 11th to 13th, approximately 300 participants from Ukraine and abroad took part in the international scientific conference "Treatment of Pelvic Tumors." During the conference, oncologists discussed modern methods of combined and comprehensive treatment for pelvic tumors.
On April 18th, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University hosted a meeting with representatives of the IRCCS Sacro Cuore Don Calabria Hospital, the Italian charitable organization Missione Calcutta, and the UGCC Ivano-Frankivsk Archdiocese. The purpose of this event is to foster cooperation.
On April 17th, representatives of the Rehabilitation Center "4.5.0 Prykarpattia" met with students enrolled in the educational-professional program "Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy."
On April 18th, the rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Roman Yatsyshyn, and the chairman of the board of the Ivano-Frankivsk Business Association, Andrii Semaniv, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
