On April 22, a professionally oriented meeting took place, bringing together the graduates of the medical faculty with the Director General of the Mental Health Center, Myron Mulyk.

 The event was attended by the university rector, Roman Yatsyshyn, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Medical Work Taras Kobryn, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Ruslan Kozovyi, Deputy Dean Oleksandr Boichuk, Head of the Department of Employment of Students and Graduates of the University Ivan Melnyk.

Today, the topic of mental health is very relevant. During such meetings, students can understand the specifics of the psychiatrist and psychotherapist professions and decide whether they want to pursue a career in this field of medicine.

"The consequences of war last for decades. We will have to deal with psychological traumas in people. Today, there is an acute need for specialists such as psychiatrists and psychotherapists," emphasizes Myron Mulyk.

Due to military actions on the territory of our country, the demand for psychiatric services will increase.

"Today's meeting with the director of the Mental Health Center is special because it is a unique center in Ukraine. I want to urge our graduates to approach the choice of their future specialization consciously," summarized Roman Yatsyshyn.
