A rehabilitation space for Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers is being established on the basis of the university's sports complex. This important project is being carried out under the directive of the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Liashko.

Thanks to the productive collaboration of the Acting Rector, Mykola Ostrovskyi with international and domestic partners, the medical university has already received modern equipment free of charge. This equipment includes a lift, a ceiling hoist for land and water-based rehabilitation and a stair lift.

"Currently, work is underway to set up the rehabilitation space. We aim to provide high-quality rehabilitation assistance to persons with military injuries. We sincerely thank the benefactors for their contributions to the expansion and significant investment in rehabilitation development.

This project will also enhance the level of professional training of specialists in physical therapy and occupational therapy. Our graduates will gain practical experience in providing aquatic rehabilitation in the pool. The university aims to maximize its contribution to society, particularly at this time. The number of people in need of long-term rehabilitation grows daily. We will make every effort to improve the quality of life for our heroes," emphasized Acting Rector Mykola Ostrovskyi.

Additionally, individual heating is planned to be implemented in the pool, allowing military personnel to undergo rehabilitation not only during the heating season but throughout the entire year.

Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University will become the first educational institution that will conduct aquatic rehabilitation for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
