On November 3, students of the Professional Medical College participated in the the presentation of the Jean Monnet Programme “Radiation Safety: European-Ukrainian Approach”  project.

 The event took place at the Department of Materials Science and Advanced Technologies of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The project's co-organizer was the associate professor of the Department of Medical Informatics, Medical and Biological Physics of IFNMU Lilia Turovska. The students of the college were accompanied by the teacher of the physics-astronomy module, Svitlana Lisovska and the college director, Oleksandr Bulbuk.

The aim of the project is to develop a multidisciplinary training course that will form knowledge about the nature of radioactive radiation, risk factors, biological effects, radiation hygiene and radiation protection in the context of the need to ensure the implementation of Ukraine’s state policy in the field of radiation safety in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.

The college administration expresses gratitude to the event organizers, particularly Professor Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, the head of the Department of Materials Science and Advanced Technologies and Professor Volodymyr Boichuk.
